The Platinum Jubilee
A once-in-a-lifetime moment rather than a syllabus staple, the Platinum Jubilee presents an exciting opportunity for learning and taking part in a key historical event. On this page, you find a wide range of resources created by our Learning resource consultants as well as other 3rd party organisations, to help celebrate this event.
LGfL in partnership with Royal Collection Trust have the pleaseure of announcing the winners of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee art competition.
We had over 150 entries and the first round of judging was completed by the LGfL Inspire Team.
The second round of judging was undertaken by The Deputy Surveyor of Paintings and the Director of Royal Collection Trust.
Across the age categories, there will be twelve designs chosen. The pieces of art will be specially printed (A2 print size) and displayed prominently in the Family Pavilion at Buckingham Palace between July and September 2022. The winners have also be invited to see their printed artwork in Buckingham Palace in September.
Thank you to ALL schools who submitted artwork; we hope everyone enjoys looking at the winners, highly commended pieces and other submissions.
